The Association of Press Wholesalers has been founded by all German press wholesalers in Cologne on May 22, 2019.
The association combines independent press wholesalers and press wholesalers with publisher‘s involvement.
As a strong advocate of non-discriminatory distribution of newspapers and magazines the association makes a significant contribution to freedom and diversity of the press, two topics of great public interest.
The main tasks of the association include practical services in the areas of marketing, key accounting and data management as well as classic association functions such as public affairs, public relations and legal issues.
As a neutral sales partner, the press wholesaler guarantees freedom and diversity of the press at around 100,000 sales outlets throughout the German Republic.
